Renü supports users in making ethical choices by offering a platform dedicated to secondhand fashion, empowering them to make a positive impact.
Renü offers a practical and meaningful solution that bridges sustainability and accessibility while promoting community engagement.
It counters fast fashion, empowers students, encourages fashion longevity, and drives cultural change. Furthermore, it bridges the gap between sustainability and accessibility all while fostering community; making it a vital tool in promoting ethical fashion practices.
Renü is for college students aged 18-24, a group well-suited for the concept of sustainable clothing swaps. These individuals are often concerned about
ethical and environmental issues, eager to adopt sustainable habits, and be active in online communities.
With limited budgets and familiarity with digital platforms, they represent an ideal audience for an app that merges affordability, sustainability, and social connection.
The interface and style guide of Renü is simple. It follows design that is
clean, organized, and modern with plenty of whitespace.
Renü’s Style Guide reflects the mission to highlight the value in sustainability and renewability in the fashion industry, while combining modern elements.
The integration of Work Sans allows for high legibility, as well as approachability.
Renü is uniquely designed to meet the needs of college students, offering user-friendly features like local listings, ability to add friends, and a large platform for trading that aligns with their lifestyle.
This video prototype showcases several features:
Navigating the home page, viewing nearby listings, sending a trade, & accepting a trade offer.
